Sumlauncher Overgrowth Game

I Have Overgrowth But not SUM launcher. I cant seem to get in the Secert preorder thing to get it can someone please help me i bought the game i dont know if. From Wolfire Games. Overgrowth uses a custom game engine. And a community-made tool called the SUMlauncher. The story of Overgrowth.

Why can't sum launcher be available on steam? Alot of people don't use this great thing that allows us to download community content, is there a reason it's not embedded in the game? When we start the game in steam, i think it should come up a option to either start the game or enter the sum launcher browser. I can't see a reason not to, i think it would benefit the game tremendously if it was available right after we buy the game from steam.

You can download pretty much any alpha from the SPF. The one for a209 is here. I think in Steam there's also the option to revert to the previous alpha. Should be under the beta options that also allow you to check out the two developer builds. Not ideal, but Steam seems to hate giving people control over versions, so that's the only way to do it through the client.

EDIT: Just had a look at it and Wolfire have actually added an option to go even two alphas back. That's kinda neat if you want to try out some of the mods that haven't been updated in a while. Download Mod The Sims 2 Talking Hack. Right click the game in the client - PROPERTIES - BETAS Should be self-explanatory from there. INTERNAL TESTING is the absolute latest version.
