Pfaff Tipmatic 1027 Manual
I bought a Pfaff Tipmatic earlier this year from a deceased estate sale for $100 AUD. When I bought it, I did a test sew on a scrap of fabric.
I was not able to work out how to make it sew zig zag even though I was given the manual, as I had never sewn on any Pfaff before that date. The press button system on the bottom right of these sewing machines is completely different to other sewing machines I had used up till that date. C Media Usb Headphone Set Driver Windows 10 here. I have done alot of searching on the internet and I think I know how the Pfaff Tipmatic 1027 does zig zag.

But the Pfaff Tipmatic 1027 I bought this year is not doing any zig zig, although it does sew a good quality straight stitch. The needle is not moving from right to left when I select any of the zig zag stitches, so it appears I bought a lemon. Does your Pfaff Tipmatic 1027 sew zig zag by pressing buttons 16, 17 and 18 on the bottom right of the sewing machine? -- Edited on 10/1/17 at 2:36 AM. Have you tried a drop of sewing machine oil on the needlebar where it moves up and down and side to side? The needlebar was frozen/stuck side to side on another old sewing machine I had.
I like to tinker with old sewing machines,( I donate when they can sew well again. I keep some of them for myself ) If you never tinkered with old sewing machines I like to suggest to let a tech look at your sewing machine.
When I have time I'm going to download the Pfaff 1027 pdf manual. If I remember correctly one has to push 3 buttons for different width ZZ stitches. -- Edited on 10/1/17 at 8:38 AM. Yes that is the way it's supposed to work. Underneath those push buttons is a big white plastic cam stack and cam stack fingers ride it(and on different places on it, depending on what button you pushed) and transmit motion to the needle bar. What kind of motion just depends on what button you have pushed down at any moment. Since yours does not do that, that means something is wrong.
Scia Engineer 2008 Iso. I don't think that means it was a lemon though, it probably worked fine at one time. But when things don't greased and oiled, after a long time they often don't work very good anymore. Also maybe if your big white plastic cam stack cracks and breaks, then maybe pushing buttons,might not do anything anymore either.
